2nd Star's June 2002 production,
"Guys and Dolls"
received the 2nd Runner Up prize in Outstanding Achevement in a Musical from the British Embassy Players.
Accepting the award were Jane Wingard, Director (center) and, clockwise from left: Lynne Wilson (Set Design), Joanne Wilson (Stage Manager), Diane Hyde, Garrett Hyde (Lighting Designer), and Vicki Smith (Choreographer).

In February 1996, just prior to our first "official" 2nd Star production, the technical staff collaborated on a one act play, "Home At Six" for the Maryland Community Theater Festival, for our old friends, Pasadena Theatre Company.
At the Festival awards ceremony, "Home At Six" received many awards, including:

****** The "Cliff Smith Excellence in Directing Award" to Jane B. Wingard
****** Named "Outstanding Actor" were Ed Kuhl, Heather Tuckfield, and Susan Weber
****** The "Ed-Ro-Char Award for Technical Excellence" was presented to the technical crew; John Guyton, Joanne Wilson, Lynne Wilson, and Marty Hayes
In May 1996, "Home At Six" advanced to the ESTA Festival in Pennnsylvania, where it won the Eastern States Theatre Association's "Judge's Discretionary Award for Set Design".
