Many people have had difficulty displaying our pages, so I will pass along the suggestions given to me by our web host service, Homestead.com (a great place for a beginner to make their own website for free!) |
If the text overlaps other text and objects... your computer is probably set to display large fonts. |
If you are using Micrsoft Internet Explorer as your browser, click on "View" at the top of your screen (next to File and Edit). Point to "Text Size", and on the menu that pops up, click on "Medium". (For Windows 98. Will be similar for Windows 95) |
If you are using Netscape Navigator as your browser, click on "View" at the top of your screen (next to File and Edit). Click on "Decrease Font". If text still overlaps, try it again. (Some elements are not viewable in Netscape Navigator version 3 and older. I will try to address this problem in the future.) |
If you're using Web TV, unfortunately, you may not be able to see some of the elements, such as animated clipart (I think). There is nothing you or I can do about this. Sorry. |
If the photographs are loading too slowly... there's nothing wrong. Blame me for using large files. |
From now on, I'll be using photo files that are more compressed, therefore, quicker to load. They won't be quite as sharp, but should load more quickly. |
Because our Photo Album page has gotten so huge and SLOW, I will be changing it to a list of mini-photos, one for each show, or one for a season. Clicking on them will link to you a page of (fewer) full-sized photos. |
