The guys have finally persuaded the reluctant Jenkins (seated) to give them the check after Wagner (Jerry Khatcheressian, right) apologizes.

Leo reveals to Miller and his girlfriend Christine (Dani Wildason) that Jenkins has put a stop on the check.

Leo and Miller scheme to have Leo fake suicide to keep Wagner from cancelling the show.

The guys pretend to mourn the newly "dead" author, Leo.

Hotel owner Senator Blake (Jack Diehl) arrives and tells the guys the play is a smash hit!

Happy ending - the play goes on, and Leo and Hilda will be married.
